London Sightseeing PassAdds Some Royalty

November 8 2010, London:  Agents and tour operators can bag an even bigger slice of London’s lucrative tourism market as the London Sightseeing Pass adds Westminster Abbey to its featured attractions from Fall 2010.

The 700-year-old landmark joins 60 other must-see sights for visitors, and has been introduced in response to customer feedback – unsurprisingly it is the number one most requested attraction amongst London Pass customers.

London Pass head of sales Peter Muttitt explained: “Westminster Abbey really embodies what London is all about for visitors – it has a fantastic history packed full of royalty, statesmen, heroes and villains, and is a genuinely beautiful piece of architecture. We are excited to be able to include it alongside so many other wonderful attractions, ensuring that our trade partners can add real value by selling the London Pass as the ultimate sightseeing ticket.”

The addition of Westminster Abbey to the London Sightseeing Pass coincides with the unveiling of the new Fall guidebook at the UK travel trade show “World Travel Market” at London’s ExCel (Nov 8-11), joining top attractions including St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London and The Churchill War Rooms.

In addition, The London Sightseeing Pass has added more money saving offers, including;

·       20% discount off the a la carte menu at fresh fish restaurant Livebait and at the traditional French eatery Boulevard Brasserie

·       25% off all food at Slug and Lettuce gastro pubs

·       25% off total food bill at North London based Shaka Zula restaurant

·       Free hot fudge sundae with every main meal in the famous Hard Rock Cafe and for every £30 spent in the Hard Rock Cafe shop, and receive a collectible free gift.  Customers can also pay a visit to the Hard Rock Vault – home of iconic guitars and costumes worn by Madonna, Eric Clapton and The Beatles

Available for one to six days, the London Sightseeing Pass is a convenient and affordable pre-paid pass designed to help visitors make the most of their stay in London, and offers problem-free entry to tourist destinations, hidden gems and special offers in selected retail outlets, theatres, restaurants and bars, and commission-free currency exchange.
