The Great Orme Tramway is a vintage charmer in Wales

Riding Canada's Rocky Mountaineer Railroad

On the Rocky Mountaineer from Vancouver to Banff; the views out of the huge windows can be enjoyed from the comfortable seat of your carriage. I don't think we’ve ever had such VIP treatment on any form of service anywhere. From the moment the coach came to pick us up at the hotel, the level of care we received from the Rocky Mountaineer people was almost embarrassing. read post

    On to Baltimore for #SATWbal on Amtrak. The quiet car is actually quiet, the bar car serves wraps, and the wifi works. Have you had good experiences with Amtrak?

    Canada's top seasonal fine dining restaurant, Rundles, will celebrate its 35th year in 2012.  Board a Via Rail train in Toronto, and head out to Stratford.

    Rundles reopens on Friday, May 25th, and closes after services on Saturday, September 29th, 2012.
