5 of the world´s best theme parks without rides

Ghibli Park Some of the most memorable theme parks in the world have nothing to do with rides. These parks are built around atmosphere, storytelling, and immersion — places where the pleasure comes from wandering, observing, and letting a setting unfold at human speed, and They suggest a different idea of what a theme park can be: not a collection of thrills, but a carefully designed reality, and they reward curiosity, patience, and attention, and they stay with you long after you leave.read…

And when Barbara and Andy Allen checked into a Boston hotel, they wanted to fit as many sights as possible into their two-day visit. They gave little thought to how their stay might impact the ecosystem. But...read post

  • For Disney World fans: Just found out about a cool app, "Undercover Tourist," released earlier this month. Navigating DW with the family can be quite a production, and you can end up wasting half the day on line, cutting down on the value you receive for your admission ticket. But this incorporates not just a detailed guide to the Disney Parks but also tools to help you plan and maximize your visit by providing wait times in real time, integrated into park maps. So for example you can choose the park with the fewest crowds on a given day, or coordinate your day to hit the rides and restaurants when the wait times are shortest. You can also buy discounted attraction tickets through this app. It costs $1.99 for the first 90 days after release, then $3.99.
