Though more often identified with Kenya, the distinctive and reknowned Masaai tribe also inhabits northern Tanzanian regions such as Ngorongoro and Loliondo - though sadly, in recent years the Lusaka government has been trying to evict many to devote their lands to other uses including wildlife conservation but also tourism and big game hunting.
