eTurboNews reports that hotel prices have zoomed up and down in major cities, including some surprises in Spain.
They're up almost 25% in Zurich, 20% in Sydney, 17% in Rio, and around 10% in several European cities.
Hotel prices are down 28% in Cape Town, 17% in Las Vegas, and 24% in Tokyo.
What surprised me is that rates are up 17% in Barcelona but down 15.5% in Madrid. What's that all about?
