7 of Austria´s best winter resorts

gevison by Felice Hardy Did you know that you can ski in 274 countries - even including Hawaii and South Africa? The skiing countries of the world certainly do vary a lot, but if you're yearning for world-class winter sports outside cute, classic little chocolate-box villages with friendly family-run hotels and chalet-style architecture like the gingerbread house out of Hansel and Gretel - and perhaps cosy, gemütlich mountain eateries serving heart-warming comfort food - the Austrian…

Finland´s winter wonderland in ´7 Awesome Active Vacation Ideas for 2023´ For some truly memorable, frosty fun, Lappi (Lapland), a four-hour flight from Helsinki, serves up the perfect winter adventure. You can spend your day skating over the ice or watching reindeer or huskies run in the snow as they pull your sled. Spots like Kakslauttanen also offer day trips on the icebreaker Sampo as it clears the path through Bothnia Gulf. • Hi there! We are a lodging facility based in the Glacier National Park area of NorthWest Montana, USA. Growing rapidly even in the current economic climate our area is hugely popular with tourists but has yet to be marketed as a four season destination. Yes, that means winter sports minus the high prices and crowded slopes and with guaranteed snow!! We are actively seeking international tour operators/travel agents to work with us and other local businesses to help spread the word. Contact us at for further info and discounted rates. Fam trips welcomed and media articles encouraged!
  • Looking for a special place to spend your holidays in the Alps? A small familiar hotel in Gressoney, near the tops of the Monte Rosa massif. Monte Rosa feeling good
  • !!!!  Sounds slushy but fun Catherine.
  • It´s march in Austria. See the last "powder skiing day" in austria.

  • Fresh powder again in Gressoney!!!! this winter is incredibly long and powdy again!!! for a fantastic afterski we suggest and for lodging
  • The Mangy Moose -- duly noted. Hope you're having a good quality of snow up there.
  • And I'm skiing in Alyeska, Alaska, this week, where I bumped into a group of six German skiers.  When I asked them the same question Ed did, the answer was "To go heli-skiing.  The powder runs are longer here."

Ed, be sure to have an apres ski beverage and view of the mountain at The Mangy Moose.

  • I'm in Jackson Hole, where I ran into five German skiers who live near the Swiss border. "Why come here when you live so close to ski areas in the Alps?" Their answer: "There are trees near the tops of the mountains here. There are glades!"
  • Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!! Let a 2011 be a successful and fruitful year full of laugh and joy!!! And don't miss your time to travel ;)

We are waiting for you in Armenia!!!
