Persian, Siberian, Siamese, Abyssinians, British, Burmese, Norwegian, Russian and rare American Curl sphinxes will be among the 500 pedigree cats of 200 different breeds from all over the world gathering at the Fiera di Roma on November 20-21 for the 10th edition of the Magnificat cat show. This year’s slogans will be “VIC”, Very Important Cat and “All breeds lead to Rome”.   As well as the feline beauty competition “Mister Gatto 2010” for pedigree cats there will be prizes for the best moggy, both short- and long-haired, in the “I’m bringing my friend” section open to the public. Magnificat Show is one of the most important national event and one of the main cat shows in Europe with a 9,000 sq. meters exhibition space. There will be plenty of space dedicated to stands selling sector-related products with a broad assortment of items and veterinary products. But there will also be many occasions for meetings, debates, and seminars about our fascinating four-legged friends. The Fair will feature an adoption zone and an area for kids with shows, games, and other funny initiatives.                                                                                                                  

Magnificat will be held at Fiera di Roma. Address: 1555, Via Portuense. Saturday 10:30am-8pm, Sunday 10am-7pm. Fiera di Roma can be reached by train. The FR1 departs form Tiburtina, Ostiense and Trastevere stations, get off at “Nuova Fiera di Roma” stop.
