Greetings Tripatini PR! Dropping by to announce Write/Peace. This new project (created by CityRoom) has just been accepted by Kickstarter, an online crowdfunding site for creative projects.

An overview of the project and opportunity for you >> CityRoom will commission a specially selected team of writers to work with journalists from around the world to explore and write about important trends in tourism and how these trends impact social and economic lives both locally and globally.  Together, they will create a series of long-form, narrative stories that will be published over the course of one year.  The aim of these stories is to promote a greater understanding of how the six-trillion-dollar Travel and Tourism industry impacts local societies and the global economy.  

To begin the research and selection process, Write/Peace is requesting:

1. Relevant information, statistics, or even anecdotal stories about how new trends in travel and tourism is directly affecting people of a specific region, community or city. 
2. Suggestions of communities to explore, especially from tourist bureaus, community leaders, or any other organizations or persons who have insight into cultures that might benefit from economic growth and cultural preservation in their region.  Of primary interest are stories about places and people far off the beaten path —really, stories can hatch anywhere.
3. Support for Write/ Peace on Kickstarter.
