U.S. Tourism & the U.S. Government

"Every 35 international visitors we welcome to the U.S. generates one American job that can't be outsourced." -Roger Dow, CEO of the U.S. Travel Association.

  • Ed, I think tourism industry hasn't been able to push enough money into Washington to rise above the other industries how are fighting for visiblity with our elected officials.  Microsoft made the mistake of doing nothing for years.  Then they got hit with a FTC lawsuit and they started spending money of lobbists in DC.
