support Egyptian tourism

to every one who is interested in visiting Egypt for business or for tourism also to every one who loves Egypt or have some good memories in Egypt

first of all i must introduce my self to all of you.my name is Ahmed Khattab and i am an Egyptologist and i own a travel agency in Cairo called Scepter Travel and it's website is www.sceptertravel.com

you all know that tourism in Egypt was affected negatively in the last 8 month because of the revolution and honestly it was unsafe to run tourism at that time but these days the country is very safe like before the revolution but still the number of tourists is below the average.

as an Egyptian and as a tour operator i decided to arrange a tour in a certain date during November for one week without any profit to let the people have the chance to visit Egypt in a good and well arranged tour and at the same time in a good price and also to give the travel agents and the tour operators outside Egypt to promote this tour in good price

in order to do this i started to make deals with hotels in Cairo and with cruise ships in the Nile river to give me some more discounts and some of the tour guides in Egypt offered their service without salary for this week to help in returning the good reputation again to Egypt.

there will be some cameras filming the whole trip and the cds will be given to the tour operators for free and for the tourists with the cost price

there is a team working with me on this idea to be a carnival in Egypt during this week

in order to be able to do all that it must be like a commitement and all the groups arrive in one day to move all together in every place where we go

it is a message to every one so please if any one want to join and support please contact me or add a coment if you have any notice

as for the program of the tour it will be sent to those who are interested

  • Ahmed,

I was in Egypt just after Mubarak stepped down. I found it to be a wonderful time to visit. You might be interested in reading the blog post I wrote on benefits of travel to Egypt now. Egypt Now

Unfortunately, I will not be able to travel in November due to having surgery but I would like to hear more about what you have planned. If it is a success and you decide to do it again I would definitely be interested.
