I've been to Lisbon on quite a few occassions and each time it just gets better and better. For me there's nothing like a late night amble through the bars of the Barrio Alto, but, I always feel like the real happening stuff is going on behind some closed door. The real fado and the real music and food from the country's old 'colonies'.
Does anyone happen to know if I'm imagining this or is there really another world going on behind those ancient bolted doors?
