Two miles away from city center, one of the earliest Islamic dynasties, the Umayyads, the 150-acre site consists of the main palace structure (pictured here), an agricultural estate, and a bath house (known for its intricate mosaics). It´s alsonon the UNESCO World Heritage tentative list.
