Fairly modest as national museums go, the three-story, 62-year-old Muzium Negara in Kuala Lumpur is an excellent place to get up to speed on the broader aspects of this country´s history, natural history, culture, and art, with artifacts dating back to the stone age; one exhibit of particular interest is a 19th-century wooden sultan´s palace.
