The island has been promoted as beach, beach beach. 7 miles of it in Negril in the west seems to be the islands great claim to fame along with other beachy things. But there is a lot more to Jamaica - a whole country with wonderful people, about 13 microclimates, 28 endemic birds, mountains to climb, caves to explore, rivers to raft (on bamboo rafts), trails to hike, and much more. Most of this seems to have remained one of tourism's best kept secrets. Well we are dying to let the secret out of the bag and invite the curious traveller to discover the real Jamaica. Hotel Mocking Bird Hill and Jamaica Explorationswill allow visitors to discover a Jamaica they did not think existed.
