Indianapolis (well, actually one of its suburbs, just a ten-minute drive away and fittingly called Speedway) becomes the center of the sports world every May with the Indy 500, first held way back in 1911. But besides other races held here, the racetrack complex including a museum and Hall of Fame are also open year round for visiting and guided tours. Vroom vroom!
