Culturally and naturally rich, the northwestern Indian state Rajasthan is a fantastic choice all year round, with notable destinations including Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Bikaner. But two periods in particular are particularly good bets.
But of the most ideal time of year to visit, believe it or not, is winter. Though it can get chilly (down to 10 C/F, with some desert areas even lower), there is still a lot of sun but without the sometimes punishing strength of summer. The street food stalls are all filled with delicious gond laddus and mawa kachoris during this time, have some to top off your winter treat!
