Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl. (February 2011) A stellar new year is predicted for one of the globe’s most respected journalism organizations, International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) . IFWTWA’s expansion into new markets is generating excitement around the world. Media trips and conferences popping up daily, an expanded outreach to new members in the Australasia division, writer leads offered to members in new and burgeoning publications and the refinement of journalism awards and grants ~ all confirm the International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association is focused on member benefits, world-wide growth and professional development.
A few exemplary trips offered by the nonprofit organization include Ecuador, an Arctic Sailing, Nova Scotia, Roatan, the Ozarks, Las Vegas and California wine country. Their 3rd annual Conference at Sea is heading to Seattle in June resulting in member's ability to practically ‘TWEET’ an entire story.

The International Food Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA) is a dynamic nonprofit organization based out of Southern California. What started out as a small group of prominent Frenchmen rating restaurants in 1956 is now a global network of journalists who cover the hospitality and lifestyle fields, and the people who promote them. Members cover a broad spectrum of travel destination attractions such as active and passive adventure activities, ecology, historical features, culture, fairs, festivals, food, wine, and special events. The association's membership includes professionals in culinary arts and sciences, the wine growing and production industry, and hotel and hospitality management industries.
