I'm Sharon Wallace, from Ciudad Colon, Costa Rica. I travel with my husband and 19 year old daughter for about half the year, almost always exchanging homes. We've done more than 60 exchanges in 10 years, and are super-enthusiastic fans. Right now I'm writing from an exchange in a 17th Century restored home in Amalfi, Italy. We just came from a 2 week exchange in Spain, and will leave here for three weeks in Provence. We finish the trip with 3 weeks in a villa north of Rome. We're already working on next year's exchanges.
Our kids think we're bonkers, but I sense a recent softening...they see us having a great time and making some good friends.
I'd enjoy reading about the other members here.

We don't really have a home to exchange but are longtime travel writers who like to do house sitting. All kinds of references.
