The Palace of the Shirvanshahs in the UNESCO World Heritage old city of Baku, Azerbaijan

Part of the Walled City of Baku UNESCO World Heritage Site, this palace complex was built in the 15th century by the shahs of Shirvan, a Persianized territory in present-day Azerbaijan (Persia - now Iran - was just south of here).
