  • Anniversary-schmanniversary -- we would've had our own civil war to worry about, lol.
  • If the government had shut down, I should think battlefields such as Gettysburg, Antietam, and Fort Sumter, which are part of the National Park System, would have actually closed for the Sesquicentennial. Is that not correct?
  • I guess it depends ... anything paid for by the government wouldn't have happened ... anything being done with private funds through private organizations would probably move forward.
