North of Grenada, a 90-minute ferry ride or half-hour flight away,  this 12-square-mile isle doesn´t have any "sights" per se but does offer visitors a chance to indulge in a truly barefoot slice of the old-time Caribbean on its gorgeous beaches, bush trails, capital Hillsborough (pictured here) and several other villages. Its clear, warm waters and pristine coral reefs also deliver possibly Grenada´s best snorkeling and diving, expecially in spots like Carriacou Marine Park.
