Berlin´s Monument to the Murdered Jews of Europe

The Denkmal für die ermordeten Juden Europas, aka the Holocaust Memorial, inaugurated in 2005, is a 4 1/2-acre site covered with more than 2,700 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern. It´s a short walk from the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag.
