  • I found that it all depends on who's cooking it.  I've haven't had elk yet, but I've had both good and bad venison.  Same with buffalo, for years I couldn't stand it then I had the buffalo burger at The Buffalo Inn in Upland, California, which is delicious.
  • Tonight I had a slightly peppery elk sausage appetizer followed by a juicy elk cheeseburger  at the Wort Hotel's Silver Dollar Grill in Jackson Hole. This was the first time I've ever really liked elk (and I still can't warm up to buffalo). Is this an incorrect attitude?
