Pennsylvania Wine Trails

At Gilded Fork, we travel the world in search of interesting stories about food and wine. Our travels have taken us to Indonesia, Switzerland, Peru, Italy, Spain, Canada, and many other locations in search of the local color. We even sometimes visit places close to home.

  • I'll have to give the trails a try. Loved the Brandywine Wine Trail in Pennsy.

Most recently ate my way across Singapore.

  • Mark,

Congratulations on the nomination for Tasty Awards in the Best Food Travel Series. Your Barcelona Boqueria Market videos are great!

  • Mark, I've driven past the Susquehanna area, but I never stopped to try them, so now I'll know a little more about it. Thank you for posting this.

In northeastern PA, there's a vintner who buys grapes from other areas for his Maiolatesi wines. The fascinating thing about them is that some of the cab blends are quite good, while much of the rest is lowest-common denominator. Kind of like listening to a pianist who alternates Mozart with Chopsticks. http://www.maiolatesiwines.com/contactus.html

Keep posting these videos; they're good.
    • Thanks for the comments, Steve & Ed. We'll have one more video in this series, but we have literally hundreds of videos on http://www.gildedfork.com. In fact, we've been nominated for the 2nd year in a row for the Tasty Awards in the Best Food Travel Series: Web category!
