The Dordogne in South West France has a lot to offer for the family holiday. The beautiful countryside, chateaux, caves and rivers are steeped in history and pre-history and also play host to a number of activities from canoeing and boat trips to walking, biking and horse riding. There is always somewhere to take the kids and of course you can enjoy just relaxing around the pool! There really is something here for all ages and it won't break the bank.
