Hi Everyone. My apologies if this post is deemed inappropriate, but I thought I would start with this forum to ask if anyone out there fits the criteria.
My name is Loretta Chilcoat Jergensen and I'm a former travel writer w/Lonely Planet, Rough Guides, Fodor's, etc. and travel freelancer on various areas of the US and Europe. Now that I have two daughters, my writing is naturally focused on family travel!
I'm now working with a brand-new international family travel website called Oddizzi (www.oddizzi.com). Two characters named "Odd" and "Izzi" travel around the world looking for awesome places for families to visit. The website is geared toward the 6-12 age range, and uses fun language that speaks directly to them and gets them involved in the travel process on their level. The site launches this month (January 2011) and we're looking for parents with children between the ages of 6-12 all across the country to answer some questions about where they live in the United States. Some of the questions include cool places they've been to in their own hometown, their favorite local foods, and things they do with their parents/guardians.
All identities of the children are kept private (no full names or photos of children will be used).
