Once known mostly for war, and more recently for gang violence and even more recently for its increasingly authoritaran government's all-in bet on Bitcoin and crackdowns, Central America's smallest country has also been coming into its own touristically of late, with a lot to offer in terms of natural beauty, beaches, and colonial charm.
