Some four hours north of Los Angeles, this expanse of 1,187 square miles is one of the USA's most popular national parks - a true ecotourism bonanza - and our blogger Fyllis Hockman recently did a wonderful job capturing the wonder of visiting it in Yosemite National Park: Scenic Sights Overwhelm the Senses.
