Oscar Arias's administration has sponsored a bill to downgrade the status of the Las Baulas Marine Park in Guanacaste. It might sound innocuous enough but it is a dangerous precedent to essentially destroy a national park. It's especially dangerous to the successful breeding of the endangered Leatherback turtles.
