Help me, Rhonda. Or anyone else. Name your favorite restaurant(s), attractions, sites, activities on Trinidad and Tobago, and I'll try to get to them on an upcoming trip.
Just one heartfelt request: Eating termites on Tobago (see photo) -- okay, that I can do. Just don't ask me to do paddleboard yoga.

Ed, my T&T information is about two years old (Jan 2011)
Trinidad: Foodwise, I will break it down to gourmet and street/comfort food. The restaurants associated with Hyatt and mixed drinks at the lobby bar at Crown Plaza across from Hyatt. I gather Hilton up the hill has comparable options.
Right next to the Ferries going to Tobago, is a food plaza, which is not like singaporean hawker stalls; where you can get a plate of comfort food (curry rotis, chicken and fresh juices)
To have tap beer, head to Howzat ? sports bar attached to the cricket stadium, where they have a few beers on tap. January tends to be peak time to visit as the steel bands are furiously practicing for the carnival.
Tobago: Fly into Crown Point from POS (Piarco International) or take a three hour ferry from Port of Spain. Dining options outside of resort hotels, and B&Bs is rather limited to roti stands, small outlets in the markets. I am sure long time residents will disagree on everything I have said :)
