Fodor's Travel is looking for writers based in Montreal with deep local knowledge.

Fodor's is a leading guidebook brand for American travelers with more than 300 titles covering most corners of the globe (www.fodors.com).

If you are working in Montreal, or know any reporters/factcheckers who are currently stationed there, please be in touch. Feel free to pass this request on to friends, colleagues, and other journalism listservs. Please note that we hire journalists who have local expertise, i.e. our writers work in the specific city/region they cover. We're looking commission immediately, and assignments will be due back within a few months. Topics include sights, restaurants, hotels, nightlife, the arts, sports and shopping. Writers for whom English is their first language preferred, however, we will consider others with a strong written command of English and with previous editorial experience in English.
