One of Wallonia´s doezens of sites connected with World War I and World War II, this museum explores all aspects of the war experience through multimedia displays and more than 5,000 artefacts, from Field Marshall Bernard "Monty" Montgomery’s beret, to pieces of a soldiers’ bread ration and even a German one-ton bomb. There are also recorded interviews with veterans and a large collection of diaries, postcards and letters to sweethearts.
