With spectacular waterfalls, exquisite natural beauty, and lush rainforests, Springbrook National Park is located in southeast Queensland less than 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Brisbane and makes up a quarter of the World-Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforest. Its pristine 6,197 hectares (15,310 acres) of subtropical rain forest are home to rich flora and fauna and some of the finest natural beauties, including exquisite landscapes filled with primitive conifers (dubbed "living dinosaurs,") cliffs, caves, natural bridges, peaks up to 990 meters high (including a dormant volcano), and especially spectacular waterfalls.
