Lufthansa recently released details of its new A380 First Class Cabin and seating, and unlike the majority of airlines currently flying the A380 they have opted for an open seating plan (i.e. no suites)
In an interview I did with Severin Nesselhauf of Deutsche
Lufthansa AG Corporate Communications said Lufthansa conducted extensive focus sessions and surveys of their first class passengers and found most preferred an open style seating plan with adjustable privacy screens.
Other nice features on the Lufthansa A380 include two (extremely large) bathrooms, minus the Emirates style shower, and an air humidification system that increases the cabin humidity to 25% (up from 5% humidity for an average aircraft cabin)
