We've all seen them...incredible deals that sound too good to be true...
All-inclusive Dominican Republic for $24 a night (or less!)...
$199 for a four-night Caribbean cruise...
$10 a night room in Vegas...
You get the picture. Usually, they come with big caveats. Dates that won't work with your schedule, big resort fees, cinder block room over a smoky casino next to the noisy night club.
But, what if a deal like that came up, at the right time, at a very prestigious resort, in prime location? could it work?
And now the biggest question, will it work with a wheelchair?
Recently, I came across just such an offer. One I'd usually pass up because I wouldn't be able to guarantee access but, as Don Corleone said, it was an offer I couldn't refuse.
We went ahead and booked. Will it be a Dream Vacation or a nightmare? I commiserate over my fears with the first installment of our brand new report today at The World on Wheels as we get ready to go to St. Croix.
