Las Vegas’ very own Carnevale, inspired by the legendary annual event in Venice Italy bursting with masked revelers, glamorous costumes, and raucous street art, is happening now through Sept. 8th at the Venetian & Palazzo.
John Caparella, Prez and CEO of both properties summarizes Carnevale as “the perfect place to unmask your inner artist, adventurer, foodie, and romantic. The magic is never knowing what unexpected surprise is around the corner".
Now into its second year, Vegas’ Carnevale is set to wow with a super diverse lineup of over 300 entertainment, art, fashion, games, sports, music and wine experiences. In addition to nightly Light of Venice 3-D projection shows on the Venetian's clock tower façade, some highlights on my gustatory radar include Tignanello Vertical, an exclusive wine dinner hosted by the prestigious sommelier Alessia Botturi; a five-course tasting dinner & wine pairing with Curtis Stone , Australian host of Top Chef Masters, featuring recipes from his latest cookbook prepared at his very own “pop up” restaurant; and the Cheer for Beer Festival, a poolside sampling of top Italian as well as Spanish, French, & Belgian suds.
