A boon not just for folks in recovery but for families, there's a modest but sturdy segment of the travel industry focused on getting their guests intoxicated on the world rather than the sauce.

  • Fam trips to our Oasis Camp Lake Elementaita at USD 40 per person fullboard. www.oasis.co.ke/eco.html

  • Thanks Forrest, but for some people moderation is not an option.  I love to travel and try regional delights, but I leave the beer and wine alone.  My travel club is designed to make it comfortable for people to travel together, make new friends, have amazing cultural experiences without alcohol in the equation.  Enjoy your travels!
  • Ok, Sober is fine. That does not mean you cannot try the local brew or the local wines. All things in moderation, and sometimes that includes moderation. That said, why anyone would go somewhere new, spend a night drinking and the next morning with a hang over is absolutely mysterious to me.

There is one vacation spot where I lived for four years where the only reason to go there is the cheap beer. It isn't even good beer, just cheap.

  • Thanks Tripatini for starting this group.

Ive had challenges marketing my alcohol free camp and I believe this will be a good forum to exchange ideas.
