Colosseum is in the Capital City of Italy, Rome. For those travelling to Italy, Colosseum is a must- see attraction. Built by the Roman Empire, it is a huge Amphitheatre largest of its kind. It has remained as a model of sport facilities to the modern times. Colosseum is also a venue for public shows, even mock sea battles. It had a huge wooden floor, underneath of which there were two stories of tunnels, rooms, cells, and passage for gladiators, wild animals, and storage. In the city of Pisa, the leaning tower is one of the many attractions the city provides. Although, it got its fame, gained from its flaw. Construction began on the tower in the 1100s, which led to the lean by the time the tower reached the third story. Prior to the construction work, it was predicted that the tower will topple by 2000. However, today, tourists can climb to the very top of the tower to enjoy some spectacular views of the city. The leaning tower is also known as La Torre Pendente, which stands on the Piazza dei Miracoli. It is not mandatory to stay in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You can also visit the attraction from Florence which is only a few hours drive.

One of Italy’s most scenic views will be found in Lake Como, Milan. It is an upscale resort area known for its dramatic scenery. The Amalfi Coast is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage site. It is a 50 kilometers stretch of coastline along the Southern part of Italy. It has become a popular tourist destination with sheer cliffs, rugged shoreline, pastor coloured fishing villages, and small lovely beaches. Amalfi coast is popular for its picturesque towns, and villages on the coast. It attracts the tourists due to its dramatic, and beautiful setting, between the hills and sea.
