Har Ki Dun Trek in January. Har ki Dun Valley receives a lot of snow in January. It is strongly advised that you wear good quality shoes that can provide a good grip on heavy snow. Trekking to Har ki Doon valley during the month is worthwhile due to the snow, which makes it a perfect winter trek in north India.
Har ki Doon Trek begins in the quaint village of Sankri, which is located 200 kilometres from Dehradun. The next day, from Sankri, you can hire a jeep/taxi to Taluka, or you can trek there.

Option b) Yamuna is a river that flows from the Har-ki-dun glacier near Garhwal district. Although the Yamuna originates from the Yamunotri glacier of the Banderpooch peaks in the Lower Himalayas, a tributary of the Yamuna known as the Tons river originates from the Har-ki-dun glacier.
