To get the most out of it, you may want to take a few minutes to join several other of our many groups which you might find of particular interest, such as Texas, Missouri, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, The Caribbean, our Spanish, Italian and French language/culture clubs, and plenty of others covering many topics and most countries throughout the Americas, Europe, and the rest of the world.

FYI, on your profile you'll see a blue bar marked "Text Box," which you can turn into a box containing not just text but also photos and even videos about yourself, your interests, your travels, and your writing.

Finally, if you would, please be so kind as to spread the word among your travel-interested friends, family, colleagues, and guests. It's fast and easy to use our "INVITE" function above left on the navigation bar to enter e-mails (even your whole list at once!). Hi Blake : I see you are listed as a member of the media for the Missouri Tripatini group. I've not had the pleasure of your acquaintance - would you like to receive an electronic press kit about Independence or be added to my media distribution list? Looks like you write for Missouri Life, which we work with regularly. As someone interested in fairs and festivals, you should really know about the annual Vaile Strawberry Festival, held annually on the first Saturday in June and the big Santa Cali Gon Festival over Labor day weekend - it's one of the largest in the midwest.
