What did the people of Ukraine teach you about how to live your life? I lived in Kerch, (Crimea) Ukraine for 27 months. The people I worked among were so warm and filled with joy. I learned so much from them, but the most meaningful is, perhaps, to bring people into my home and be a gracious hostess...even if I have nothing and my house is humble and disordered, I can (should) value my friends, family and acquaintances...I should open my home and heart and sit down with them...I should offer them what I have and simple take pleasure in them. What did YOU learn from your Ukrainian experience? Life is good. "Ginn" In Sunny Santa Fe

  • hello Ginn

living in USA part time and in Ukraine at the same time i find people of Ukraine very hospitable at the same time the lower position of the person the more he/she knows how to live life and how the president should act...the gourd at the factory ( old babushka) needs to know why are you coming to visit administration, what question and how come she was not aware of it....understanding that each person wants to feel power and some of them just do not have it...

another negative point is corruption  - if you do not give you will not move....

other then that - I love Ukraine :)
