I'm an international travel photo/journalist and am covering Vienna for the first time Dec 7-12. Can anyone put me in contact with hotels that extend courtesies to the media? Thanks.

You are better going direct to the Vienna Tourist Board, or Austrian Tourist Board. We have used both before, and as long as you have a decent commission they have always come up with something good for us - not just a hotel, but passes for a city tour, entrance to museums, etc.
Be quick though, as both they, and hotels if you choose to go direct, don't like to do things at short notice.
