Excellence Scholarship Awards for non-members of our Association 6-30-11 deadline for this year!

This is the chance for non-members to win an award and membership. The deadline for this year is 6-30-11.

  • Excellence in Journalism – this category consists of two (2) sub-categories:
    • The Professional Journalism Excellence Award recognizes seasoned, working food, wine and travel writers and will be in the form of a professional certificate signed by the IFWTWA President and an Excellence Award Committee member, in addition to a one-year IFWTWA membership, complimentary participation in the annual IFWTWA conference, publication in Global Writes and more.
    • The Emerging Writer Excellence Award recognizes new food, wine and travel writers and will be in the form of a professional certificate signed by the IFWTWA President and an Excellence Award Committee member, in addition to a one-year IFWTWA membership, a cash prize, publication in Global Writes and more.
    • NOTE: There is a $15 one-time fee to submit an entry for the Excellence in Journalism Award.
