One month after the Tohoku disaster - combination of massive earthquakes and aftershocks, Tsunamis as high as 37.9 meters (124 ft), loss of more than 25,000 lives, unfathomable destruction to property and infrastructure, entire livelihoods lost, the unnerving release of radiation to the environs, huge economic impacts felt around the world, etcetera -- has indeed left us all shocked, and heart-broken.
