Puerto Vallarta Cruise Lines and Ships

cruise chipsA magnificent way to arrive in Puerto Vallarta is by sea. Several cruise lines make Puerto Vallarta a "Port O' Call", docking at the Terminal Marítimo, which has had to be modified to receive more than one cruise ship at a time.

The cruise lines that will be arriving in Puerto Vallarta during 2012 and 2013 include the following: Carnival Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard, Disney Cruises, Holland America, Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, Princess Cruises and Royal Caribbea

Best shore excursions in Limon, Costa Rica

9008833062?profile=originalComing on a cruise to Costa Rica and looking for what shore excursion to choose? I always recommend seeing what Costa Rica is most famous for – rainforest and nature.

At your Caribbean port of call in Limon, Costa Rica, one of the best Costa Rica shore excursions to experience the rainforest and its exotic wildlife is Veragua Rainforest Eco-Adventure.

On cruise ship stops, you normally only have time for a half-day tour, or maybe a full-day tour. The nice thing about Veragua Rainforest Eco-Adven

Sa Sung in Halong

There are many special foods in Ha Long Bay . Almost people will talk about Sa Sung firstly when talk about special food here.

Discovering Halong Bay by Kayaking

If you’re looking for a different and fun way to experience Halong Bay, I can assure you a kayak tour is the best way to go. Though notorious for being misty this time of the year, the scenery was incredibly dramatic as it created a mystical- almost magical type of environment with the limestone rock formations producing truly beautiful reflections on the water.
Seeing the other boats pass us with the rock formations in the background made for great photos ops and at times, it felt as if we were

Choosing a Cruise

James and I are in the process of choosing a cruise for December, and let me tell you, it is not easy. Due to the podcast and the website, we want to have as many cruising experiences as possible, so we can't really choose a favorite line and stick with it like most people do. (Although this will really hurt our chances at any loyalty programs) There are so many considerations that my head is spinning at this point. It is difficult to decide what priority to give each consideration. But, I will

Carnival Cruise Lines Goes Facebook, Skips Web Site

It’ a great video. It’s fun, alive, upbeat and touches a travel nerve: It’s Carnival Cruise Line’s new advertising campaign, “Hey America, Didja Ever.”

But the video is not on the cruise line’s web site, confirming, once again, that searches for authentic travel experiences are not found on search engines or on web sites, but on social media networks.

It’s here where people can question, connect and participate with real people in

US Virgin Islands: Paradise Awaits You!

– St Thomas/St John Trip to Paradise.

Spirit left late by 40 minutes from Ft Lauderdale as they were waiting for a flight connection to arrive so people weren’t stranded. What a nice thing to do for an airline. Normally they just don’t care. Arrival into St Thomas, pretty uneventful. A 22 year old tried to smoke a cigarette on the tarmac! To funny, although not so funny to security. They were like – what are you crazy dude this place could explode.

Arrival to Marriott Frenchman’s Reef. It was a pl

At an art gallery in Eden Prairie, Minnesota about 1995, there was a painting that caught my eye, that would lead me to a magical place in Norway many years later. Passionate about the cruise industry, I have been on over 300 cruises around the world and have even worked on the ships as a Cruise Director and Entertainer. Today, as a Cruise Industry Journalist, I set out to find creative and fascinating cruises and itineraries that will be of interest to the listeners of my talk show and viewers

Cruise Lines Sail the Social Media Seas

The captain of the Oasis of the Seas may have driven the 5,400 passenger cruise ship into Fort Lauderdale's Port Everglades last fall, but it was Social Media channels that drove the Royal Caribbean's cruise ship, the world's largest, onto Google's most-searched list.

Travel trade publication Travel Weekly reported that as of a couple of weeks ago, 10 million unique visitors made their way to OasisoftheSea.com, and a whopping 200,000 people

Shipboard credit aboard Cruise Ships

I recently learned that two cruise line companies offer shipboard credit if you own at least one hundred shares of stock in their Corporation. The two cruise line companies are Carnival and all of its lines and Royal Caribbean. The amount of ship board credit varies by length of cruise. Information can be found by using the search function on their web sites.

Cruise Bargains

Although we had not thought of booking a transatlantic this spring, lo and behold an email arrives from Princess and the price was too good to pass up. Princess informed us of a special price of $699 for a 16 day transatlantic cruise that leaves on April 19th. The cruise leaves Ft Lauderdale, with stops in Madeira, Rome, Livorno, Genoa, Sardinia, Gibraltar and Monte Carlo before arriving in Barcelona. The flight back from Barcelona was actually as much as the cruise, but even with the flight it
