Founded in 1926, the RCWS is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children at risk in Russia. Among RCWS projects are college scholarships for orphans (currently 153 students), medical treatment for children with severe facial deformities (annually over 200 little patients receive surgeries), assistance to orphanages, rehabilitation programs for children with special needs, a “Yelka” (a Christmas and New Year celebration) in Moscow for over 1,000 disadvantaged children visiting from many areas of Russia; and other programs.</p><p>You can support these programs and be a part of the Petroushka Ball in one or more of the following ways: purchasing tickets to the Ball; placing advertisements in Petroushka Ball journal; donating prizes; making a contribution; supplying products for the gift bags.
