Outside the town of Gori, just under an hour's drive northwest of Tbilisi, the oldest of Georgia's cave towns (with human habitation traced back to Iron Age around the end of the 2nd millennium BCE) consists of several hundred chambers and rooms hewns out of a riverside cliff. Mind-blowing!
