  • I can certainly endorse Indonesia as a top dive destination. I went to Manado, Northern Sulawesi in 2007 and dove both Bunaken National Park and the Lembeh Strait. If you like critter diving, it doesn't get much better than this.

  • Indonesia certainly does have some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world. I did a dive trip to Komodo back in May, but half the boat was snorkelers, and they reported seeing most of what we divers saw - turtles, sea snakes, sharks, etc. Komodo has to be one of the best destinations for (light) adventure / nature junkies, but it actually doesn't seem to get that many visitors.
