Copenhagen, Denmark … August, 2011 … The travel search aggregator http://www.momondo.com, which this month was honored one of the “best travel websites and apps” by Travel and Leisure Magazine ((http://www.travelandleisure.com/articles/best-travel-websites-and-apps/8) is launching a new search engine for multi-stop round-trip travel. The initiative makes it possible to search flights with multiple destinations in just one search and compare the best prices for the total trip. The multi-destination search feature is a new addition to Momondo’s travel search that previously has offered only one-way and standard return-trip flights. “We have millions of users worldwide and thousands itineraries. That is why we’ve put a lot of know-how and resources into developing our new search engine, which we’ve just launched in a beta version at http://www.momondo.com/Multi_city.aspx,” says Martin Lumbye, Partner in Momondo.

Examples of multi-stop round-trip flights might include:

*Flying from New York to London, then from London to Paris, then taking the train to Rome and flying back to New York from Rome.

*Flying from New York to San Francisco, taking a road trip to Los Angeles and flying back to New York from Los Angeles.

*Flying from New York to Tokyo but returning from Tokyo to Washington DC and later returning back to New York on one’s own by car, bus or train.

Previously, a user had to spend a long time conducting several searches between respective cities to get a comprehensive view of the entire round-trip. Now, with Momondo’s new search engine the user can get an overview of the best prices for the entire round-trip in just one search. All the user has to do is enter the destinations one time and Momondo will aggregate and compare the best prices on flights across more than 700 online travel agencies and airlines.
