Seeking editor/writer with good Spanish for corporate travel/tourism blog

Our company is seeking a part-time editor to handle the English-language blog of a major travel/tourism client, which involves writing (and sometimes proposing) four or so original posts in English and translating about an equivalent number of posts from the Spanish blog. Hi Erick, your best bet may be to contact the US embassy in San Jose. Here's a WEbsite that shows that Costa Rica had 1,100,000 visitors in 2000, and 48.7% (535,700) were from the U.S. The % was provided by the US embassy, so that must be the place that keeps those figures. Good luck!

Erick, that's a tough one, because each country (France, Japan, South Africa...) only keeps statistics on Americans coming to it. So who would know this -- perhaps U.S. Customs?

Erick, if I read you correctly (i.e. travelers to the U.S.), this might help you. For a bonus, it includes a breakdown on where the travelers came from. http://tinet.ita.doc.gov/view/m-2009-I-001/index.html. If I don't read you correctly -- if you meant statistics on travelers from the U.S. -- sorry.

I note that not only did Madelyn Miller not answer the question I posed (about how much she was paying for contributions to her various online publications), but the request for contributors to her new venture has been removed.

Methinks she didn't want to tell the assembled media that she pays NOTHING for contributions to Travellady.com and her various other sites.

Cruising's not really in my bag of tricks, but what about the old give-'em-a-call approach? I can't count the times I've called a golf course or resort or CVB or provider seeking assistance.
